OUR STORY

Puusaun (from the Finnish word for wood-fired sauna) is operated by an energetic father and daughter duo. The story began in 2019, when they decided to turn the magnificent surroundings of the Narvijärvi lake into a year-round open-water swimming spot.

CAFE

Our cafe is always open during our sauna opening hours. The sauna entry fee is also paid at our cafe. Our customers are also welcome to enjoy our glass cafe, which offers a calm and unique coffee experience!

Our menu offers you a variety of food and drinks, and is a licensed area. We kindly request that our customers observe the boundaries of the licensed area, and note that the consumption of alcohol not purchased from our cafe is not permitted at Puusaun.

Please make any food orders earlier than 30 minutes before closing time. We also offer takeaway food, and we can take orders over the phone.

Open sessions

Our open public sessions do not require any special reservation or notice. Payment is made at our cafe.

The property and its services can also be rented for use by individuals and companies on weekdays between 9am and 3pm. Feel free to ask for more information by contacting us at info@puusaun.com!

Work Wellness Days

If you would like to organise an unforgettable wellness day for your work team in the beautiful setting of Narvijärvi lake, don't hesitate to contact us. Wellness days can be organised on weekdays between 9 am and 3 pm. We can offer breakfast, time for your own meetings or guided activities, lunch, sauna and swimming, and coffee before departure. The day can be customised, so we would love to discuss how Puusaun can suit your needs!
